How to Make Italian Dessert Ciambellone at Home ?

Ingredients for Ciambellone:

Instructions for Ciambellone :

  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), vanilla extract, and lemon zest if using.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour batter into the pan: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan or Ciambellone mold, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  7. Cool: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve: Once cooled, Optionally you can Sprinkle powdered sugar. Slice and serve with your favorite beverage.
